Joanna Dewfall is a professional mosaicist who has done many private and public commissions. Joanna has designed this Mosaic Kit for beginners from many years of experience teaching adults and children traditional mosaic techniques. The kit contains everything you need to complete a 30cm sq mosaic panel, except a pair of tile nippers and safety specs. You can buy these in DIY stores or tile shops. The tile nippers you purchase should resemble the pair on this page. The mosaic tiles used in the kit are a matt ceramic floor mosaic, they are extremely durable and heat proof but are also very easy to cut. A design template and colour key are provided but the kit is not 'by numbers', it has a full set of step-by-step instructions that give you the confidence to create your own unique mosaic based on Joanna Dewfall's design.
